Couture designer dressmaker Claire Watson took matters into her own hands for her special day - and designed her own wedding dress.
Claire, who runs Claire Catherine Bridal & Couture, created her dress using duchess satin, with a lace-up back detail and finished with silk roses, feathers and Swarovski crystals.
Since 2003 Claire has been working closely with clients to create luxurious designs, tailored to the bride's body and budget. She uses French and Italian silk and laces, rhinestone trimmings, Swarovski crystals and pearls to craft her gorgeous dresses.
"My aim is to produce a gown that enhances the customer's personality," she explains. "I like creating a wedding gown that makes them feel spectacular. Seeing a happy customer gives me the most pleasure."
